If you are a mother that loves and take care of your child, you will surely be worried. Imagine you carry your baby in the womb for a period of 9-month when you were still pregnant. You follow your pedia's instructions so your baby will have a healthy condition inside your tummy. And when you gave birth, you breastfeed your baby, you sacrifice your time of having lack of sleep.
And when your baby became a child, you send him or her to school. You had him or her vaccinated to protect out of any diseases, especially the well known killer dengue in the whole world. Yet, you've found out about the terror of the vaccine called "Dengvaxia". Would you jump and rejoice? Of course not!

This is what happened to a mom who has a child injected with Dengvaxia. She asked the former DOH Secretary Garin, "Can you still sleep well after hearing these reports about Dengvaxia?
Iris Alpay, is only one of the mothers who was very disappointed by a saddened news about Dengvaxia. She trusted the government, especifically the DOH in the Philippines, to have her daughter vaccinated for dengue protection. But now here comes the bad news, as she heard and learned that those who never had any dengue in the past that was vaccinated will have a tendency of getting a severe disease. The story that she never heard nor she was informed before she had her child get vaccinated with Dengvaxia.
There were 830,000 thousands across the Philippines who were vaccinated. Some of them were reported who had experienced fever months after the vaccination. The current DOH team is actively monitoring all of them. And the Senate of the Philippines are started with their hearings regarding this matter.
