Jujen Ababon A 10-year-old boy of Cebu City has infected with dengue months after he was injected with Dengvaxia vaccine according to reports.
He got vaccinated three times, the first time was in August and the other two were in the next six months.
Due to lack of finances, her parents were not able to send him to the hospital immediately. Later on, they had him check up in a semi-private hospital and was told by the doctor his condition was still manageable.
His mother added that it was Jujen's first time to get dengue after he was vaccinated with Dengvaxia.
On Monday, the Senate of the Philippines will start of their first hearing regarding this case according to the current DOH secretary Francisco Duque III when he was interviewed by CNN Philippines.
Duque was asked by the CNN Anchor if there will be liable from the previous DOH people. He said, it depends on the outcome of investigation but anyone will be held liable regardless who and what they are.
